Position Description
FGS The Restoration Company is a growing leader specializing in restoring homes and businesses after damages from water, fire, smoke, and mold, while also focusing on general reconstruction projects. FGS is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team in Madison, WI!

The Project Manager is to oversee reconstruction projects from start to finish. This position will review the project and scope of work with the Estimator and the customer. The Project Manager ensures that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard with the agreed specifications. The Project Manager will head projects, manage work crews, subcontractors, and suppliers related to each project to restore properties to their pre-loss state.

Principal Duties:
• Scope reconstruction: First contact with insured(s), set appoint times, photo, documentation, materials, measurements.
• Data transfer: provide all scope information to estimator with clear understanding of the work
• Contract: receive contact signatures and down-payments.
• Project Management: coordinate work, schedule staff/sub. Coordination via work orders for fire & smoke restoration, contents cleaning and pack-out, deodorization & odor control
• Damage Restoration: wording in a matter that states the PC has a general understanding and mitigation services and achieves IICRC status
• Mid project quality checks, and progression payment when applicable.
• Work closely with insured(s) (i.e. home owners, customers) establish a good rapport with all parties and determine appropriate plans to get the building back to pre-loss condition as quickly as possible.
• Build and review work orders with estimator as a second reviewer
• Planning and directing operation staff to coordinate work projects; Ensure project requirements and schedules are created, fulfilled and deadlines are achieved.
• Build and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with our existing and new customers.
• Manage job progression and fully document each job in detail.
• Conduct final walkthrough with the customer.
• Deliver survey to the customer for them to complete and mail back to FGS and collect COS, Survey, and Final payment upon completion.
• Assist in the payment collection process with the Estimator/Project Manager.
Position Requirements
• IICRC certification and standards acceptance
• Minimum of five years in general construction experience a plus
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possess high attention to detail
• Proficient with PC systems and Microsoft Office software is desirable
• Ability to display professional behavior and dress as required by First General Services
